Brooke's New Sweater

A great Loyal Rescue volunteer sent Brooke a new sweater to keep her warm. It fits perfectly and she doesn't seem to know it is even on when she wears it. For a few days just after she got it, she shared with her doggie sister, who was under the weather and seemed to be shivering. What a lovely gift for a sweet little girl... Many thanks Lu, you are an angel to these foster dogs!
Brooke is doing very well. She rarely has an accident in the house these days, although she continues to go out every 2-3 hours. She just loves to strut around the house with a kong stuffed with a dog treat and will wrestle with it for a long time. Brooke is really seeking us out for pets and snuggles and is very relaxed now. She loves the freedom her stairs to the bed and couch gives her, she goes up and down them all day long. Coming down a full flight of stairs is still a problem as she tends to get out of control, but she cautiously goes up a full flight. We are just waiting for the snow to go so we can start our walks again. Brooke loves to go for short walks and it is so good for her to get the exercise.
Brooke has been patiently waiting for a suitable forever home for 10 months now and we hope she will find it soon.
