The Winter Blues

Brooke is doing so well. She is much more animated and engaged in the things we do. She asks to get up on the bed (those short little legs just don't allow for jumping on things).
Brooke seldom has any accidents in the house now and we have extended the time between outings to 3+ hours. This is great news!
With all the cold weather and snow, we rarely get out for walks. Some days Brooke goes for a short walk on the treadmill with strict supervision. She really does need to keep doing some exercise.
We are dreading the day this sweet little girl lands her very own forever home. She has wormed her way into our hearts and it has been so rewarding to watch her transformation from a timid uncertain girl who had to learn everything there was to being a normal dog, into this happy little doll. She has given us so much!
