It has been awhile since the last post. Pinky regressed slightly once Noelle left her as the only dog in our home. It is very evident that she will need a companion dog in her new home to help her gain confidence around people. She was more nervous without Noelle around to give her the comfort she needed. We, then went on holidays and Pinky went to a nearby foster home where she became one of 6 dogs with a huge secure yard to run and play in. She really enjoyed having the other dogs around and played more. She is still wary of people and needs to be approached slowly while speaking to her in a calm voice. We are making progress and regaining what we lost when she was the only dog. We picked up a new foster on our way home from holidays and Pinky is back with us and has a bichon sister for comfort. They are helping each other and with time and patience both should become great dogs for some lucky families.
