Jody was rescued from a puppy mill, received all her vetting and arrived at a temp foster home April 27. Jody is an 18 pound bichon frise and is doing well. We picked her up on our way home from vacation May 4th and she and Pinky are getting along well. They give each other comfort as they are both wary of people and are learning together that humans will give them kindness and love. Jody is starting to toilet outside (still have accidents, but getting the idea) and she loves to explore the yard. She is starting to learn to walk on a leash and do short flights of steps... both of these will require more work. She eats and drinks well and is starting to come to an outstretched hand, but isn't taking treats yet. Time and patience is the key... there is a wonderful dog lurking in there!
