My Foster Dogs: New Dogs arrived on Sunday

We picked up Lyric a 6 pound yorkie and Misty an ll pound Bichon Frise, both mill dogs, on Sunday.
They are both very curious and walked around exploring inside and out. Sunday was the day that we had the 2" of wet snow and it did not phase them at all. They walked in it and both did their business outside all day. Both dogs had been given a quick shave before they arrive and will need a bit of a clean up around the edges, but were pretty clean for mill girls. On Monday Misty learned to come up the three deck steps and into the house which makes getting them back inside easier. She is not a fan of going down them yet, but it will come. Lyric is a bit more timid, although she comes to an outstretched hand to see if there might be a treat in it. Monday we had quite a few "accidents" in the house as I worked on the best way to get them both out at the same time, especially in the morning. We have started to leash train and hope that it comes along quickly.
Such sweet little girls, playful and gentle.
