Mandy has been with us almost a month now. During this time we have seen her come out of her shell and start playing and coming to us for affection and pets. It did not take her long to get back to where she was in her first foster home. Mandy is walking twice daily and although she isn't fast, she is steady and she absolutely loves to run around in the back yard. Many is learning to trust more each day. We provided her with steps recently to get on and off the couch and bed. Last evening she left the bed on her own, got a drink of water in the kitchen and chose to come back up on the bed with no encouragement or assistance. Each day is a learning experience for her. She is just so sweet!
