Unfortunately the dog Ellie was to live with would not accept her and so she is still up for adoption through no fault of hers. Ellie and Gabby now have a new friend who arrived yesterday- meet Adele, a five year old maltese weighing 8 lbs. So far Adele is very calm, but curious and seems to be a quick learner, especially for a mill dog. She has already mastered going up our 3 stairs and is now starting to learn to go down them. We are working on house training.
