Penny has settled in very well and is a happy girl. She has a dental planned for next week and her ears will be assessed and cleaned at that time. We have been working on them daily and have most of the gunk out of them that we can see, but I am sure there is still lots further in the ear canal. She does not hear very well and we are hoping that will improved when the ears are better. Penny also had her lasix medication decreased again will be reassessed in another month. There have not been any symptoms of the heart issues once she started on lasix.
Penny loves to be near Brooke and will try to play sometimes. I don't think Brooke knows what to do when Penny tries to initiate play.
Today we gave both dogs a chicken foot to help clean their teeth. They do love them and worked very hard chomping them without getting very far.
