Petey is a very docile (so far) and gentle dog, seems to be house trained and has not tried to mark in the house. He gets along well with the two resident dogs and seems to gravitate more to the male in our house. Petey thinks he is a lap dog- all 24.5 lbs of him wants to be in your lap and he loves to be petted. He has settled into our household very quickly.

New Foster Petey
We picked up a new foster on Sunday August 30. Petey was found as a stray and Loyal was asked to help find him a home. Before he arrived here, Petey was seen by a veterinarian and was brought up to date on all his vaccinations, tested for HW, given a dental with 3 large extractions and treated for an ear infection. He was very quiet the first few days as he recouperated, but is now playing with soft toys, enjoying short walks and loves to bask in the sun on the deck or in the yard. He reminds me of an old lion when he walks.
