Brooke is Doing Well on her Meds

Brooke has been on meds for her Cushing's disease for over 6 weeks and is doing very well. She had blood work done at 2 weeks and 6 weeks to make sure the dose is correct for her and the results were good. She remains on Vetoryl 10mg/day and will have blood work done again in 2 months. Once the dosage is clearly established blood work will be needed less often.
Brooke is much more active and engaging since starting the medication. She loves to run (really run, not trot) outside and roll in the grass. She is more interested in staying close to us and has become my little shadow coming for pets frequently. It is so nice to see her blossoming.
We continue to walk twice a day, weather permitting. Brooke still have occasional accidents in the house and it seems to be when we are home but not right with her and she can hear us working or making noise. We have left her several times free in the kitchen/family room for 6 hours with no accidents.
Brooke can run up a full flight of stairs and can go up and down the 3 steps from the deck to he lawn with no problem and may be able to do a couple more down with more practice
