Narnia (Maddy) Arrived Today!

Our new foster arrived today. We were asked to pick a name... we decided on Maddy, but she arrived with the name Narnia. We have decided to call her Maddy anyway, as she is just too sweet for a name like Narnia. The vetting papers say she is 5 years old and weighs 8 pounds, but we think her weight is 5-6 lbs. We will try to get her weighed at our vets soon.
Maddy is quite timid, but trying very hard to be brave. She is curious and wants to be near both people and our dog Molly. She has eaten and had a small drink and done all her "business" outside so far.
Our granddaughters (4 and almost 7) stopped by to meet our new guest and Maddy although timid, was very good with them and wanted to be near the action.
Maddy was spayed, had her teeth cleaned and polished (no extractions needed) and had her vaccinations, including rabies shot. She had to be shaved down and will need a good grooming when her hair grows back. She finds it cold and has a blanket and jacket to help keep her warm. She seems to love the outside and runs around our small fenced yard.
We have fallen in love with her already and in a very short time we feel she will be ready to be someone's loving companion.
