Fred goes to the Cottage

I took Fred to my mom's cottage for a couple of days. He did very well and seemed to enjoy being outdoors a lot. Fred travels in the car very well and we didn't hear a peep out of him for the 2.5 hour trip. Fred met several people and a couple of large dogs while we were there. He loved the dogs and his tail went right up in greeting. He was a bit more reluctant with our two legged guests, but after a few minutes would come to them. We walked the cottage road each day and watched the hummingbirds which Fred was quite interested in. It was a nice change for us both.
Fred continues to feel more comfortable with us and is learning new things all the time. What a wonderful companion he is becoming.
