Fred- A delightful little man!

Fred is such a delight to have around. He wants to be near his people and is starting to want to be picked up and cuddled. He is most energetic in the mornings. He always waits patiently in his crate for us to get up and once the door is open he bounds out running back and forth until we get to the back door. He then jumps out the door and usually has to wait there for his foster sister who is not so eager to start the day. I have been trying to film his antics for a few days now and have about given up. He pays more attention to me when the camera is on!
Fred was great this past week adapting to having a house full of guests, taking it all in stride.
Fred now gets ready happily for his 2 or 3 walks/ per day and is often the first out the front door. He is eager to walk and is very good on the leash. He loves to meet other dogs along the way and his tail goes right up. He is cautious the last couple of steps in greeting though.
Fred is learning patience in waiting for his meals and we rarely hear any noise while he waits for his kibble to soak. He is a great eater and cleans out his bowl very quickly. Fred has started to learn stairs and the "sit" command and is coming along steadily.
Fred has come a long way in the month he has been here and will continue to flourish with love and patience as he learns how to live in a family setting. He is hoping the right forever home will be found soon.
