We picked Dooby up Sunday. He was very quiet in the car, and rode well. It was immediately apparent that he liked males more than females as he followed my husband around and would not leave him if he could help it. If I have him on his own, he is fine, but shows he is waiting for the return of hubby. Dooby is house trained and walks well on a leash. He is not very energetic and is a picky eater. He and Zoey our dog co-exist nicely, but they mostly do their own thing.
We have begun looking for the right home for him. He certainly needs a male as the primary person in his life. This may change but for now it will be critical for him to progress. We feel he also should be with another Westie as he was used to living with one.
Dooby is a handsome boy and allowed me to do some grooming and give him a bath. He is a bit on the heavy side, but as he gets more walks in this should not be an issue. He is a very easy house guest.
