Wyatt arrived last Sunday and came exploding out of her crate with her tail going furiously. She absolutely loves attention from people. She was very shaggy on arrival with fur covering her eyes. She had her feet and tummy shaved, but otherwise needed to be groomed. At first we were expecting to received a male yorkie, but after he was named he turned out to be a female; 4 years old and 4 lbs. She is underweight at 4 lbs and we will hopefully get a bit more weight on her before she finds her forever home.
Wyatt is a lively little girl and is doing very well for a puppy mill dog. She loves people and does all she can to get ALL the pets offered. She is starting to learn that she must share with the resident dog. Wyatt has learned to go up and down our 3 steps to the couch and off our deck, walk on a leash (although it is quite cold right now) and is starting to do her business outside.
The first 3 nights she slept in a crate, but last night she was not happy to be on her own and joined us in the big bed. She settled down after a few minutes and slept happily until the morning.
