We Sadie has been with us for a full week now and is doing well. She is a quiet, calm girl who is still a bit wary or us, but if coaxed will come to our outstretched hand. Her tail is often wagging and she finds comfort in being near our dog. Sadie learned to go up and down stairs the first day she was here and has no trouble getting up or down the 3 stairs to the deck or couch. She also learned to walk on the leash quite quickly and now goes around the block a couple of times a day. Loud noises or people passing us will halt her progress, but she is getting more used to the sounds of the neighbourhood.
Sadie has one odd thing! She only pees once/ 24 hours. She does this during the night. Because of this quirk we have her sleeping in a crate with an x-pen attached, so we can monitor her. Everything else with her is as normal as can be.
