Pinky has been with us for 3 weeks now and she is doing amazingly well. She is liking the backyard more, now that the snow is gone and she is starting to run and jump around outside. She has very few accidents in the house now, if she is let out every 3-4 hours and she is walking around the block daily and seeing people and other dogs. She will back away if someone approaches her, but will stand quietly if I stop to talk to someone. Pinky will alert bark when we come home, but is not an overly noisy dog. She is still wary of people and especially of being picked up, but with constant exposure to different people and being picked up frequently throughout the day, she is learning that people will not hurt her. She seems especially comfortable on our bed in the evening and will lay beside us getting pets. With time and patience Pinky will become a great companion.
