Last week we took the dogs to have dentals and lump removals. Jake had a clean and polish with 6 extraction and also had an epulis on his gum removed and he is doing well and will finish his antibiotics today. He is a very picky eater and rarely finishes his meal. I think he is holding out for what he was used to eating, which was not as nutritionally sound as we would like. Jake loves to go for his walks and can be playful with Jersey. However right now we have to curtail the shenanigans until Jersey is healed up.
Jersey had to wait two more nights to get her dental and lump removed. It appears that Jersey lost 9 or 10 teeth. The lump on her chest was removed. It seems that both dogs were well liked and got lots of cuddles during their stay at the vet clinic. Two days after coming home Jersey's incision opened up and she had to go and get 5 staple put in. They will be removed in 14 days. She was a little trooper and only flinch with the last staple.
This week should be better as they both heal.
