Misty certainly needs a fenced yard. Each time she is put out to do her business, she zooms around the yard just because she can. At first she was awkward and had trouble getting the stride, but she is strengthening her leg muscles and doing much better. She just seems so happy and alive as she does circles and figure eights in the yard. Our other little foster actually tried to play with Misty during a rest stop.
Misty now walks around the block with Lyric and although they stop often, they are both quickly improving. These two are learning very quickly, especially Misty, who is showing more trust each day. Misty has an application in progress and may be adopted soon. Fingers crossed for this sweet girl.
