We had a visitor last Week

Fritz and Reagan had a visitor for a week and they all got along well. Tessa, a mill girl, just out of the mill for one week stayed with us. Tessa is a sweet, timid maltese girl, who is learning things very quickly. She had mastered short flights of stairs and by the end of her week with us was walking fairly well on leash and became the go to dog when going for a walk to pick up the mail. Reagan and Fritz  still will only take a few steps on leash and then refuse to go farther, although they love to move around the yard freely and Fritz will sometimes run across the yard. They are all so different.
All three dogs by the end of the week were doing most of their business outside or occasionally used the pee pad. We still had the odd accident. The dogs all slept in their own crate at night; Tessa called to go out two of the nights and Fritz had one accident in his crate the second night and then was clean. They all settled in well at bedtime with a little treat.
Reagan is gaining more trust, but still prefers the male person in the house. We aren't sure if I make her more uneasy or she just prefers males. Fritz on the other hand loves everyone and is always hopeful of getting a pet or cuddle... no issues at all with people!
They are both sweet little dogs and will make a great companion in a quiet home.
