Well it is finally warmer and Ethel wants to be outside as much as possible. She checks out all the good smells and looks for our back neighbours to get pets though the wood fence. This morning a pair of Mallard ducks landed in the yard. Luckily Ethel was inside. I took her out on the deck to view the ducks and she got very exited, quivering and making small throaty sounds. We went out on a leash where she hurried toward the ducks who took off (I really don't want them looking for a nesting place in the yard). Ethel then spent a long time touring the yard and sniffing where they had been.
Ethel remains much the same, a sweet little girl who loves people, but not other dogs too much.
