We picked up two new dogs yesterday

On our way home from holidays we picked up two yorkie mixes, a bonded pair, as our newest fosters. Ethel is a black and tan girl and the leader of the two. Lucy is mostly blonde with some redder patches and more timid in nature. The two get along very well, but Ethel is protective of Lucy and does not want other dogs in their space, so we will be looking for a home with no other dogs. They both love attention, being cuddled and snuggling with each other. The girls were in another foster home for a couple of weeks, but needed to moved because there were issues between Ethel and other dogs in the home. They seem to be good with only humans around. They both had a bath and a bit of a hair trim today. Ethel was fine, but Lucy let me know she does not like baths!
We had our first walk today and although they were eager to go, they both need some leash work.
Stay tuned for more updates as we get to know these girls better.
