Butterscotch perked up after she finished the antibiotics and pain meds which were both hard on her tummy. She was not eating very much at all until she got off her medication, but now she is taking her special diet to help prevent more stones from forming very well and is much friskier. She still needs to wear the cone most of the time to prevent her from licking her incision, but the stitches will come out in a couple of days and she will be able to say goodbye to the cone. Butterscotch doesn't seem to have any urinary issues as a result of the stones or surgery which is good news. She has only had one accident since the surgery, but wants to go outside every two or three hours... not sure if she has to go or just wants to enjoy the fresh air.
