Penny went back to Cavan to have her dental and ears cleaned. The surgery was postponed due to the discovery of her enlarged heart when she first arrived into Loyal's care. Poor Penny lost 12 teeth and is on a soft diet for 2 weeks while her mouth heals. Her ears were a horrendous mess and we have been doing ear cleans daily for the last month, but while under anaesthetic the vets finished getting the gunk out and her ear infection is now able to be treated with antibiotics. She has bounced back from surgery very well and is becoming quite playful. She loves to cuddle and can't get enough belly rubs. A very sweet girl!
