Brooke and Petey go to an Adoption Event!

We took both dogs to an adoption event at PetValu in Pickering yesterday. They both did very well. Petey was a perfect gentleman and met and greeted the other dogs with no issues (even got snapped at by a toothless 5 lb dog a few times and just walked away... good boy Petey!). Brooke was restless in the x-pen, but was great wandering around on a leash and greeted the people who stopped by.

The dogs were back to the dog park at the end of the week and Petey took exception to the commotion of several young dog tearing around bumping into him and tried to get them to stop. We have decided that he definately does not enjoy chaos going on around him and will do well in a quiet home. He loves to cuddle and get petted and just chill out. He really is a very easy going dog.
He does have one vice... he just loves to eat kleenex, and I mean eat, not chew. He will chow down on any that he can get, so we have had to put all boxes out of his reach. He seems fine about toilet paper though (wonder what the difference is to him?).

Brooke continues to amaze us at how engaged with life she has become. We can't get enough of her running with abandon in the backyard. She has come so far!
