Brooke Has Foot Spa Day!

Brooke had her feet done today. We started by clipping the long hair from around her toe nails and between her pads. This is not her favourite thing, but she tolerated it well. After that I massaged coconut oil into her pads which she does enjoy, I put on a set of soft booties. I thought she might not like the boots, but after a few minutes she did well.
Brooke is doing well with Gizmo. If he does something she doesn't like she now tells him off, and this keeps the peace. This is something new for Brooke and she is gaining some confidence when it comes to defending her things. Gizmo is also much better after being neutered or perhaps has just found his place in the pecking order and the dogs get along very well.
