How to spend a freezing rain day!

The forecast was for freezing rain and for once they were right. Izzy must have known that the weather was bad, because when I opened his crate this morning he decided he would rather sleep for another hour. We woke up to an icy day and none of the dogs were keen to go out and slide around the yard. Eventually they all did their business and came back in.
We came up with a plan to get Izzy some exercise and although he wasn't thrilled about it he walked for about 15 minutes on the treadmill. I may try Brooke on it later as it doesn't look like we will be walking outside anytime soon.
The rain continues to fall and the ice is getting thicker... we may have a skating rink in our backyard soon. Good day to curl up with a book and a dog or two!
