Pierre is settling right in!

Pierre is a real cuddle bum. Most of the time he is gentle and quiet, looking for a lap to sit on or a hand to pet him. He can also be very playful, zooming around after toys and trying to engage the other dogs to play.
Pierre had a few accidents at first, but with the strange environment, new food and lots of activity in our home the first 2 or 3 days he was here, those can be excused. He seems to be house trained with no accidents in the last 3 or 4 days. He did mark when he first arrived.
We are watching to determine if Pierre might have a front leg issue. When he jumps down from chairs, flies down stairs or turns very quickly, he will sometimes give a yelp and hold up a front paw. The joints are not painful to touch when this happens and after a couple of limping steps he is off and running again. We are trying to limit his jumping down and will watch to see if this improves.
