Barney has Arrived!

Barney arrived right on time this morning. All we could see as we walked up to the car was a white tail wagging furiously. He is a very friendly little guy and gave us kisses as soon as he was in our arms. Someone shaved Barney's whole body except his neck and head. They also shaved a bit on the top of his nose but did not touch the rest of his head. He was quite a sight and got a few comments from the transporters. I am not sure if his hair style was intended or not... maybe they just got too busy to finish him.

On Arrival

Barney has now has had a bath and some work done on his head. There were a lot of mats which we worked out, and trimmed off at least 1/2 the length of his hair. We went for a walk and he does fairly well on the leash, but does pull some.  Barney is now having a good nap.
Not sure yet if Barney is housetrained. He wet a belly band once so far, but has marked the backyard and had a poop outside. Time will tell. Barney can do stairs and jumps on and off the bed and couch with no problems.
