Rex Joins the Family

We picked up Rex, a minature schnauzer today. Rex is a 3 year old dog who was found as a stray in Ohio. No one claimed him and he was taken into rescue to avoid being euthanized. Rex started his journey to Canada Saturday morning and spent the night in Oshawa before arriving in Kingston at 10:30 Sunday morning.
Rex is very friendly and is getting along well with our dogs and everyone he has met. He has lots of energy but settles down when asked to. He seems to have claimed Fred's soft bed by the computer, which is fine with Fred if he can be on my lap.
So far no accidents from Rex and he is eating well. He was neutered a few days ago so has to wear a cone until next Friday when the sutures can be removed.
